Description:

Make a difference in the life of a senior seeking to become a U.S. citizen! Be an in-home tutor to help prepare a senior to pass the test!

The International Rescue Committee's Immigratrion Department assists refugees and other immigrants seeking citizenship.

Each Citizenship Tutor will meet weekly in the home of an applicant for U.S. citizenship who is 65 or older.

The tutor will go over lesson plans in U.S. history and government which will be provided in order to help the applicant prepare for the test to become a citizen.
