Description:

A physical therapist is needed to provide therapy one-on-one to individuals, train caregivers, prepare teacher training materials, research for useful resources, establish an equipment donation system, educate the public about disabilities, and/or survey family needs.

Cornerstone provides accommodations (dorm style), a hot home cooked Belizean midday meal on work days, orientations (volunteer, house, cultural, office, and program), staff direction, professional networking, and office space (including equipment and supplies).

Cornerstone’s office and housing are located in San Ignacio in the Cayo District of Belize (11 miles from Guatemala). Volunteer terms range from three to six months. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Students, retirees, and other adults are welcome to apply.
