Description:
We rely on our experts – volunteers – to get the word out. City Harvest is invited to set up information tables at different events including food industry conventions, church functions, street fairs or college/university volunteer fairs. We rely on outgoing, friendly volunteers to set up, staff the table, distribute literature and answer questions about volunteering. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, while spreading the word about opportunities to help hungry New Yorkers.
