Chaplains provide the following for our clients and our staff:
confidential non-judgmental listening, counsel, guidance, direction and support;
crisis and disaster intervention;
palliative care and bereavement counseling;
guidance in bio-ethical decision making;
mediation for conflict resolution;
educational opportunities;
worship, and prayer and devotional opportunities
Chaplains are expected to be of sound theology and demonstrate a heart for practical Christian ministry. They should exhibit administrative and organizational skills, initiative, creativity, have the ability to work with diverse groups, and be proficient in computers. Certification, degree, or 4 years of ministry experience is preferred.
