Assistant Chaplains- This position is for individuals who do not have the certification or experience to be considered for Chaplain positions but wish to gain experience in this area of ministry. Assistant Chaplains provide assistance and support services to Chaplains and will work directly under the Chaplain to which they are assigned.
Assistant Chaplains provide the following for our clients and the staff:
devotions, resources, articles, and information for The Chapel
assist in mediation for conflict resolution
provide prayer and encouragement for clients and staff
assist the Chaplains as needed
Assistant Chaplains are expected to be of sound theology and demonstrate a heart for practical Christian ministry. They should exhibit administrative and organizational skills, initiative, creativity, have the ability to work with diverse groups, and be proficient in computers. Individuals who are pursuing education and experience as a Chaplain is preferred.
