I work with a nonprofit organization based in Northbrook, Living Earth Television (www.LETV.org). I do know of quite a few other nonprofits in the area, and I think it would be great to have this group as a forum for discussion.

Living Earth Television is an educational broadcaster and educational organization that will be broadcasting its first series next spring on PBS stations around the country. The series is of 13 half-hour documentaries made in China by Chinese TV producers, and about daily life and ordinary people and communities all over the country. We're timing the broadcast to lead up to the Beijing Olympics in August, to introduce Americans to the wonderful ordinary people of China. We will later expand our focus to other parts of the world, and plan to broadcast in other parts of the world as well.
