“From Moldova, it looks like this effort is really needed. The multiple agencies that are here work with each other sometimes, and with local leaders. Trust and collaboration skills are lacking here on BOTH sides. The leadership and the agencies all protect their territory because there is commpetition for all the big funding that comes here. Young people have the capacity to do more than the current leadership can support. Will Moldova remain a source of cheap people power and a devlopment agency goldmine? Or will the local people stick around to empower their own national development?”
