Description:
The Youth Development Exchange-International promotes youth development and empowerment. We facilitate connections between people who can make a positive difference in the lives of youth and have a meaningful, lasting impact.
Our professional blog, The Exchange, examines global issues from the youth perspective. During our short tenure, we've covered a number of important topics including the 2008 U.S. presidential election, national security issues, the war in Iraq, Jena Six and more.
We are looking for outstanding young writers and editors (under 25) to deliver written, audio or video content about important issues in world and youth culture.
Applicants must have at least six months experience working for a student or professional publication OR be a novice writer with a strong recommendation from a teacher/professor or mentor familiar with your writing skills.
We are firmly committed to diversity. This is a virtual volunteer role so writers and editors can contribute from anywhere on the globe as long as they can speak and/or write in fluent English.
How to Apply:
