Description:
Volunteers work with teachers and coordinators to devise and implement lesson plans in schools along the Arajuno Road. Volunteers work in small groups and their work is part of a curriculum aimed at long-term and lasting benefits.
Placements cost $100 a week plus a £50 booking fee. Food, accommodation and in-country supervision is included, but volunteers need to make their own transport provisions.
The Arajuno Road Project needs imaginative and enthusiastic volunteers who are keen to make a lasting difference to the children of the area. The project is suitable for first-time and experienced volunteers looking for a true volunteering experience in South America. Spanish is not required but a basic understanding is useful
