Description:
Our purpose is to promote the social cultural and community development trough the art, considering that the creativity is a powerful tool to enable a transformation. Vitamins efforts and collaboration are needed.
The art like an energetic and powerful resource to change the world, finding creative choices in view of the seriousness of the situation. We've created opportunities for you to provide a genuine service to help people in marginalized communities in Tlaxcala, Mexico. These communities are in vulnerability situation, emigration, poverty, ecological damage and loss of cultural heritage (native language, traditions, antique art, archaeology)
The requirements you need are any degree of art (including students) or master’s degree in community development to share your skills and compassion through teaching and general education.
To encourage the volunteering service we offer to you a course of art and Mexican culture in English/Spanish, facilities and equipment to create your own works of art. We offer assistance during the time you stay in Mexico.
The volunteer’s work is directing and organizing musical, dancing, theater, sculpture, jewelry, handy crafts, languages workshops and any other related to art according to the volunteer’s propose. The time estimated to work in Mexico is from one to three months, all year.
The volunteer has to contribute with $ 400 dlls by month to bed and food. This amount is used to help the family who provides the home and food.
Other: we need help to design our Web page, any contact with other international organizations and getting donations, too.
