VE Global (www.ve-global.org) does not charge a fee and empowers volunteers from around the world to create and implement a variety of innovative and powerful programs in education, recreation and culture to provide new opportunities to underprivileged children. Since 2004 we have brought over 300 volunteers from 35 countries to join our team for an average of six months (minimum of three) in 14 different orphanages, community centers and schools throughout Santiago. As we receive volunteers from so many countries, our mission has a worldwide focus to bridge the gap of inequality by creating a community of volunteers that spans the globe.

Volunteers of all backgrounds, ages, and talents are welcome. We especially look for energetic, patient, and affectionate individuals to work with abandoned and abused children. Because of the importance of communication, we require all volunteers with limited Spanish ability to take 30 hours of classroom Spanish before they arrive in Chile.
