How do I find individuals with similar interests?

Regardless of whether or not you have set up a Personal Profile, as an Idealist Member, you have access to use the "Find People" feature. To search for other Members with similar interests, do the following:

1. Login to your Member account by going to our homepage and filling in your login information in the Member Login field on the right side of the screen.
   
2. In the box on the right side of the screen titled “Tools to connect with other people,” click on "Find people.”
   
3. Fill in the form with your search parameters (location, area of interest, keyword, etc.) and click "submit."
   
4. From the search results list, click on an individual's name to view his/her full description.
   
5. You can then send this Member a message from your Idealist Member account by clicking “Send this user a message.”
