How long does a listing stay on Idealist?

Job and internship listings expire and are automatically removed from the site after the "Last Day to Apply" has passed or when the posting group or organization removes them prior to that date. Why would an organization do that? There may have been an overwhelming response to a position in the first few days, they may have reorganized and decided that they don't need to hire at this time, or any number of other structural/financial changes may have occurred. Please save any job listing you are interested in to your hard drive or print out a copy of the listing.

Event listings are automatically archived and removed from public access on the site after the date of the event has passed. Campaign, program, and volunteer listings stay up for the duration of the campaign, program, or volunteer opportunity. NOTE: An organization has the ability to take down a listing at any time for any reason. Idealist does not have the ability to retrieve a listing for Idealist Members once it has been deleted.
