How do I change or add a picture of myself?
Answer:
The image you upload for your User Profile will be viewable when other Idealist Members search our site, may also be displayed on other pages throughout our site in our gallery of user images and when you post in our discussion forums. The images you upload must be stored on your computer. We do not allow you to upload images with a hyperlink. Images that are obscene or copyrighted are not allowed on the site; they will be removed without notice and your account may be suspended.
To upload an image, do the following:
- Login to your Member account by going to our homepage and filling in your login information in the Member Login field on the right side of the screen.
- Now you will see your Control Panel page. Click underneath My Profiles the link that says "Click here to do it."
- The menu will expand to show your different profiles. Click "Add New" to the right of "Personal Profile."
- On the next page you can specify all your preferences. The sixth option is "Your Photo." Click "Browse."
- A dialog window will appear for you to browse the contents of your computer’s hard drive. Select the appropriate image from your computer and click "Open."
- Back on the Personal Profile page, click "Submit."
