How do I find an organization using Idealist?

There are three ways to search for organizations. First, you can search our whole site by doing the following:

1. On the top of any Idealist page you will see our logo and name. To the right of that look for "Search the whole site." In the field below that, enter some keywords, titles or locations.
   
2. Click Search.
   
3. On the next screen, the results of the search will be divided by the categories of listings and the numbers of listings that match your search. Click the number next to "Organizations."
   
4. On the next screen will be a list of all the organizations matching your search.

1. Go to the Idealist.org homepage.
   
2. Click the blue "Find" tab in the menu at the top of the page.
   
3. On the Find page you will see a menu of listings you can search. Click "Organizations."
   
4. Fill in the fields on the next page to narrow your search. You do not have to fill in every field.
   
5. Click Submit.
   
6. On the results page, click the name of the organizations you’re interested in.

3. On the Find page you will see a list of listings you can search. Click the name of the type of listing you are interested in.
4. On the right side of the next screen is box titled "Browse all listings by location." Select the geographical region you are interested in.
5. On the next screen you will see all the listings for that location. You may then narrow these results further by selecting a specific country (or state) on the right side of the page. You can then narrow those results further by City.
