How can I retrieve my organization's password?

If you already have access to your organization's account but do not know the password, you can retrieve it (for example, to give it to another member of your organization) by following these steps:

1. Log in to your Member account at http://www.idealist.org


2. Once you have logged in to your account, you will see your Control Panel.
3. Click on the "Groups and Listings" tab. To the right of your organization's name click "Edit & Post."


4. On the next screen you will see the Entry & Update Menu.
5. Click on “Update Your Group’s Profile,” located along the right side of the screen. You will see all of your organization's profile information, including the password."

If you need your organization's password in order to gain access to its account, visit www.idealist.org and click on the link to add your organization / group, located above the blue bar on the right side of the screen. Follow the steps to sign up/log in to your individual account and access your organization's account. When you are prompted to enter your organization's password, you will be given the option to send a password request to the contact for your organization.
