How much does it cost to post a job?
Answer:
Idealist charges all U.S.-based nonprofit organizations or groups $60 per job posting. Nonprofit organizations/NGOs or groups based outside of the United States may post job listings for free.
U.S. based organizations also have the option to purchase a job pack, which offers a discount on our standard job posting price (10 jobs for $475, 30 jobs for $975, 100 jobs for $2500 and 500 jobs for $10000). Job packs are only valid for the organization account that purchased the job pack (i.e., If the headquarters of a national office pays for a job pack, it is valid in that account only. It is not transferable or applicable to any of their local field or chapter offices). The job pack is active only upon receipt of payment.
Idealist charges all consultants, vendors, and freelancers a membership fee to be included in the Consultant Directory, in addition to $60 per job posting, regardless of whether the posting is for your own company or for a nonprofit client, and regardless of location. For consultants, vendors, and freelancers, you are billed once you select your membership type ($50/6 months or $95/year) the first time you log in. You must pay this membership fee by credit card to have access to any other services, including posting jobs.
