Why are there so many changes to the conference program this year?
Answer:
If you have attended one of our conferences in the past, you'll notice that this year's event is a bit different. In an effort to integrate this event a bit better into the mission of our organization (to connect people, organizations, and resources to help build a world where all people can live free and dignified lives), we have changed the structure of the conference to rely more heavily on the incredible depth of experience that every one of our attendees brings to this event. By essentially inviting all attendees to be "presenters" and to share their experience and knowledge in the context of small group meetings (what we're calling "Cooperative Groups" or "Co-Op Groups"), we hope that every conference attendee leaves this event with a deeper knowledge of a growing movement of young people across the country and around the world who are creating change and building a better world.
