Can I reserve "placeholders" if I don't know who I'm sending to the conference yet?
Answer:
Yes! You can purchase voucher codes that will serve as “placeholders” to lock in a registration rate, and that you can then distribute to others as you wish. When you distribute these voucher codes to others, they will then enter the code at the bottom of their registration form in lieu of payment info. Buy placeholder vouchers early to get the discounted rate – they will work even if the person who uses it registers after a payment deadline!
To help register a student with a voucher code you have purchased, you can email this registration explanation to them. (Remember to include the voucher code you wish for that student to use where it says [VOUCHER]):
To register for the 2007 Idealist Conference, please do the following:
- Go to http://www.idealist.org/registration and click on “Register yourself.”
- Fill in the information on this page, and type in the voucher code where it says "If you have a voucher code, enter it here.” Your voucher code is [VOUCHER].
- Click submit. You should now be registered for the conference!
