Why is Idealist.org doing this?

The purpose of this project is to rejuvenate Idealist.org and make sure that all of our data is current. Since our site has been around for nearly 12 years, a portion of the contact information for the organizations listed on Idealist.org is no longer accurate. It would be nearly impossible for our staff to search for all this new information, which is why we are asking for your help!
