Can donated equipment be deductible for the donor? Donations are deductible if made to a recognized 501(c)(3) organization, or one that meets the qualifications of such.
How should we dispose of outmoded computer equipment? You need to keep records and make sure there are no grounds for concluding that insiders took advantage of the situation for personal gain.
