Description:

This volunteer position would assist in
on an important human rights and an emergency humanitarian crisis situation work in Kenya that could potentially emerge into a Darfur-like situation if action is not taken as soon as possible. We need a volunteer who can assist us with this huge task, by helping secure advocacy, emergency aid, and medical care, legal assistance, and protection.

The unpaid volunteer position would involve contacting and working with human rights organizations, donors, the press, and public outreach about this emerging genocide and possibly developing programs or organizing this as you see fit.--or in whatever way you feel you unique talents best fit our work!

Outreach, marketing, and other skills you already possess would be invaluable to us, as would in particular, fundraiseing or organizing events, but these are not required. fundraising events, etc.

Excellent writing and communication skills

A passion for people in crisis

advocacy and resource development and procurement experience

Energy, self-motivated, dedicated, integrity

Experience with traditional indigenous communities or genocide or humanitarian crisis situations a plus.
