Description:
The Foundation is currently seeking volunteer Board Members who understand the start-up environment. You must be a responsible professional who is passionate about peace-building and human rights. Multicultural experience preferred.
Qualifications:
- Non-profit Board experience preferred
- Expert knowledge in one of the following
* law (non-profit, international, human rights)
* technology (IT and web development)
* fundraising
* accounting (non-profit, international)
* marketing/pr
* science
* peace-building
* education (early childhood up to pre-college teens)
Language requirements:
- English fluency a must
- Additional languages strongly preferred
Responsibilities include:
- Meet (or conference call) once a month
- Donate financially to the foundation
- Fund-raise for the foundation
- Raise the profile of the foundation
- Set strategic direction of the foundation
- Spearhead committees (dependent on expertise/experience)
- Guide the foundation with your professional expertise
Location:
We run a virtual office. Therefore, there is no geographical restriction as long as you can "attend" the monthly meetings
