There are so many things you can do to build bridges on campus. Maybe some of these ideas will
inspire you:
Students, career counselors, and service-learning staff can work together to advocate for
loan forgiveness programs for students who work in public service careers after graduating
Students can work with the Alumni Affairs office to establish a directory of alumni working in nonprofits
A student activist group and a student volunteer group can co-host a week of service projects and actions around a
given topic. For example, they could organize volunteers to work at a soup kitchen, as well as arrange a meeting
with a state representative to advocate for fairer housing policies.
