I'm pleased to announce that the NetAction Web page is up.

Much thanks and appreciation goes to Judi Clark of ManyMedia for hosting the NetAction site and list service on her server and providing the technical support needed to create the site.

Founded in July, NetAction is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting effective grassroots citizen action campaigns by creating coalitions that link online activists with grassroots organizations, providing training in effective Internet organizing and advocacy, and educating the public, policymakers and the media about technology-based social and political issues.

There is also an "announcements only" mailing list related to this project. To subscribe, send email to majordomo@manymedia.com with the message, "subscribe netaction" (no quotes). You will receive email with further details about how to manage you online account once your subscription request has been approved.
