With our 1,700+ members, we coordinate advocacy with nonprofit leaders to advance equity and public policy that supports vibrant community organizations and civil society. Maryland Nonprofits capacity-building services include the state’s largest nonprofit consulting, training, an annual conference, and accreditation through the Standards for Excellence program. We are the home of the Maryland Association of Resources for Families and Youth (MARFY), Maryland Latinos Unidos (MLU) and the Charge Up Collaborative. Position Summary
Maryland Nonprofits seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Communications and Marketing Coordinator to support strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate to manage various communication channels, including social media, website content, blogs, and email campaigns, while fostering relationships with members and marketing partners and enhancing brand visibility. This role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset to drive engagement and promote the organization's mission effectively.
The Communications and Marketing Coordinator will also support marketing efforts for Maryland Nonprofits’ integrated programs: Maryland Latinos Unidos, the Standards for Excellence Institute, and the Maryland Association of Resources for Families and Youth (MARFY). Maryland Nonprofits is a hybrid workplace, and the Communications and Marketing Coordinator will be required to work in-person in our Baltimore City office at least twice a week. Responsibilities also include staffing in-person and virtual learning and networking events to provide logistical support and social media/marketing coverage.
