GPYC chapters around the world focus on local initiatives that positively affect youth culture by bringing together young people of all faiths, ethnicities and interests guided by the vision of “One Family under God.” As many conflicts are rooted in differences in culture and belief, in order to transcend these barriers it is essential to acknowledge our common spiritual heritage in the same creator God and to respect each other as members of the same human family.

GPYC emphasizes universal principles, values and aspirations that undergird its activities to bring people together. In particular, GPYC is rooted in the three pillars of facilitating inter-cultural and inter-religious cooperation (interfaith), promoting and strengthening virtuous marriages and healthy families (family), and fostering a culture of heart through service (service).
