Colorado Voters for Animals is a Colorado network organized specifically to support animals and the people who care about them in the political arena at all levels of government. CVA is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(4) non-profit organization.
What We Do
- Track issues that affect animals in Colorado’s state legislature, congress, and local jurisdictions.
- Mobilize our legislative alert network to communicate with their elected representatives in the state legislature
- Survey candidates at various levels of government to ascertain their attitudes to and positions on animal issues
- Apprise our members of incumbents' voting records and of survey responses from all responding candidates to help members make informed decisions when voting
- Inform our members through updates
- Engage local media in animal protection legislative action
