Writing a profile of how the Portland Food Policy Council got started and working out the details of a local action group meetings to discuss food security issues
What drives you to do this work? What makes you want to get out of bed every morning?
I love knowing that my work is part of a larger project to improve community food security in Lane County. I also enjoy the energy of my co-workers.
How often do you "dress up" for work? Describe the culture of your organization.
It is relatively casual. Some people dress up, but jeans or khakis are fine most days.

What do you do when you are feeling burned out at work?
I don't feel burnt out that often; usually I take a break and wander around the food bank warehouse. Making pottery is another great release.
