A Day in the Life
What are three things you love and three things you find challenging or frustrating about your work?
Love:
1.  positive feedback from families and providers
2.  variety of the job
3.  great co workers

Challenging or frustrating:
1.  bureaucratic paperwork
2.  locating difficult services
3.  time constraints - deadlines

What is the most important task on your desk right now?
Compliance of paperwork
Approvals for meetings and services
Assigning and completing evaluations

What drives you to do this work? What makes you want to get out of bed every morning?
To help special needs children. I realize I'm helping an underserved population.

How often do you "dress up" for work? Describe the culture of your organization.
I dress up when I have meetings and appointments with families and administrators. The culture is very quality driven. There is also a large emphasis on staff appreciation and staff empowerment.

In a typical month, about what percentage of your time is spent on the following activities?
Talking on the phone 75%

I tell my supervsior and get assistance in completing some of my work. I may take a day off.
