Are you sure you want to organize as opposed to service or policy-oriented work? Do you have the energy and commitment to do organizing? Why do you want to work with a community organization as opposed to a state or national org?

Affordable housing, homelessness, living wage, reforming education and welfare, redirecting budget priorities, and renewing communities.
