A Day in the Life
What are three things you love and three things you find challenging or frustrating about your work?
Love:
1.  working to make others' lives better
2.  working with positive people toward a unified goal
3.  seeing results on a daily basis

Challenging or frustrating:
1.  people with personal agendas
2.  people who can't or won't fulfil their commitment
3.  dishonesty

What is the most important task on your desk right now?
developing a matrix for fund-raising for the upcoming year

What drives you to do this work? What makes you want to get out of bed every morning?
The families we serve. They deserve better, and we help them attain these goals.

How often do you "dress up" for work? Describe the culture of your organization.
On occasion. Most of what we do is construction, so attire has to fit environmental parameters that don't require a tie.

In a typical month, about what percentage of your time is spent on the following activities?
Talking on the phone 15%
Dealing with email 10%
Meetings with individuals 5%
Meetings with groups/committees 10%
Traveling 5%
Writing 10%
Reading 10%
Researching 15%
Other 15%

(Note: respondents could allow their answers to add up to be more than 100%)

What do you do when you are feeling burned out at work?
Go fishing or to a seminar. Both are rejuvenating for me.
