Career Path
What was your first job after college and how did you get it?
I was a newspaper reporter at the Ithaca Journal; I applied for it.
How did you get your current job?
Worked for many years as an organizer in labor and community organizations.
What experiences and/or course work in college best prepared you for this job or influenced your decision to do this work?
Seeing the injustice of the way Cornell treated its blue-collar staff, and seeing the workers organize into the UAW.
Any regrets? What experiences and/or course work might have better prepared you for this work?
None. Thank you, Frank H.T. Rhodes.
