What is Idealist.org?
Idealist.org is a project of Action Without Borders, a global network of individuals and organizations working to build a world where all people can live free and dignified lives in a healthy environment.
Over 80,000 nonprofit organizations from around the world maintain profiles of their work on Idealist. An organization's profile contains, at the least, some basic information about the work they do, including their mission, contact information, and website address.
Most profiles also include additional information such as current volunteer opportunities and internships, resources and materials that the organization offers, services that they provide to the community, and job openings. You can search for this information by geographic location, keyword, and area of focus.
