Listservs are discussion forums that take place through email. When you join a listserv, every comment and reply is emailed directly to you and you can reply and ask questions to the entire list or individuals.

The National Service-Learning Clearinghouse provides a list of service learning listservs.

Bulletin boards are also online discussion forums, but unlike listservs, everything posted is displayed in one place. You can visit bulletin boards periodically to take part in the discussion.
