About us

Kids of Mombasa Programme, KOMP, is a local registered NGO with the Kenya Government that wishes to help the kids to a safe future which is promising and better. KOMP puts an individual needy kid in focus for development. Into this, KOMP targets children at the age bracket of 3 years old to 14 years old who are in need of care and protection who includes: orphans, street-kids, poverty, abused kids, abandoned and neglected kids. KOMP work without any religious connection as a background and has no barriers for the target group.

We also teach these kids to value themselves and their origin with frequent trips to the game parks thus helping to educate them about nature and their country.

Kids of Mombasa Programme was established in 2007 in Kisimani Village . Kisimani is situated in North Coast of Mombasa 8KM from Mombasa Town along the New Malindi Road . With good public relation it has built, KOMP has successfully won the heart and faith of children who they serve. Through integration spirit and networking, KOMP has received warm reception from the community, who feels that they are included in the project as they get involved in most activities of the Organization.
