School district leaders need support when implementing
reform strategies. Secondary Reform Partners (SRP)
starts at the district level and develops a partnership around key
components of reform models.
SRP specializes in addressing the following contemporary school issues:
- Overage middle school students
- 9th grade students transitioning into high school
- 9th graders who fail 9th grade or repeat multiple years
- Combating truancy
- Low high school graduation rates
- Re-engagement
Once a district implementation plan is developed, SRP
builds capacity at the school level for these reforms. Working with key
stakeholders in the schools, SRP`s organizational and instructional coaches do the "heavy lifting" of reform by working on-site to
implement the strategies.
