Waypoints Consulting is a technical assistance organization committed to economic and social justice. We work only with nonprofit organizations and seek to effect positive social change in our communities. Our expertise: translating data and applied research into meaningful action, especially within the realm of human and social services and most especially as related to homeless and housing services.
More specifically, we are data analysts and program evaluation specialists who provide training, education, project management and data analysis/reporting to a network of nonprofit housing and homeless service providers in Western Massachusetts and throughout the state.
Our primary focus is the Western MA region's Homeless Management Information System Initiative, which is sponsored by the HUD-funded Holyoke/Franklin,Hampshire,Hampden Counties Continuum of Care (CoC). The CoC is comprised of more than 20 organizations who operate 50+ housing and homeless programs including street outreach programs, emergency shelters, transitional and permanent supportive housing programs, and homeless prevention programs. The aim of the HMIS project is to assist the CoC and its providers in meeting local, state, and federal reporting requirements while producing actionable information that can help the region in its efforts to reduce and end homelessness.
The CoC, its human & social services providers, and Waypoints Consulting are members of the Western MA Network to End Homelessness. The Network is the guiding force in our efforts end homelessness in our region. More information is at www.westernmahousingfirst.org
