Thinking About Becoming a Foster Parent?

Event

Event posted by: Boys & Girls Aid-Oregon

Event description

Are you curious about becoming a foster parent? Then join Boys & Girls Aid next Wednesday, July 10th for a FREE Foster Parent Information Session!

Boys & Girls Aid has served Oregon's children since 1885. As the oldest child welfare agency in the state, the agency continually works to impact the well-being of children in need by providing safe housing, positive relationships with caring adults and tools to learn and grow. In addition to foster care, the agency provides adoption services and temporary safe housing for youth in need.

We are looking for foster parents to provide safe, stable, and loving homes to our diverse population of older youth. Our foster parents live in both apartments and houses, are single or married, and are just as diverse as the youth they care for! They provide stability and guidance to youth who are learning how to become independent, successful adults. The valuable resources a foster parent provides last a lifetime!

Do you know anyone who might be interested in becoming a foster parent? Know someone who would make a perfect foster parent? Pass on the information! All are welcome at our FREE info sessions! Come learn more about how you can make an impact in a child's life.
