Affordable Housing, often referred to as "Low Income Housing", is among the most successful public/private partnership programs in the nation's history. The engine of the program, the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), is important to understand, difficult to obtain, and complex to finance. This interactive workshop will provide the basics of the program's history, how the credits are obtained, what strings are attached, and how the financing works.
