InTransit Empowerment Project will be hosting a FREE workshop entitled Baby Fought Back: Resisting Traditional Body Ideals in July of 2013. The workshop will focus on expanding the definition of an ideal body with respect to gender expression, race, ethnicity, ability and body size. This year it will be held on July 13th, 20th and 27th at Berry United Methodist Church(4754 N. Leavitt, Chicago). Our workshop will comprise of 10-15 youth, between the ages of 14 and 24.
