You can sit back, rest your feet, and also experience one of our mini-presentations at our "Living the Good Life" stage. Presentation topics include Creating Photo Memories (11:30), Stream Stewards (12:15), CPR for Seniors (1:00), Everything Old is New Again (1:45), Laughter Yoga (2:30), and The Taoist Tai Chi Form (3:00)! Visitors are invited to enter to win one of five Grand Prize Trip Accommodations courtesy of The Variety Post, and visit over 120 exhibits featuring information and hands on activities about travel, recreation, health, nutrition, housing, finances, health resources, and more. Be sure to take advantage of free health screenings such as blood glucose screening, blood pressure checks, foot scans and foot/shoe analysis, posture exams, and acupuncture demonstrations. Expo attendees can park at the Vancouver - Clark Parks & Recreation Marshall & Luepke Center (1009 E McLaughlin Blvd Vancouver, WA 98663) and utilize the free expo shuttle service between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. There is also limited free on-street parking, and metered parking at the Vancouvercenter Park 'n Go Garage located on 6th between Washington and Columbia.
This event is presented by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and The Messenger. RSVP is a program of the Human Services Council. Its focus for the past 40 years has been to engage empty nesters and retirees in meaningful volunteer service at over 100 non-profits in Clark County. A suggested donation at the door helps to support RSVP.
