In this hands-on workshop you will learn the basics of summer pruning in order to increase the health and abundance of local fruit trees! This fun workshop will be an opportunity to gain a basic understanding of the different types of pruning cuts and when these cuts should be used.

About the instructor: Nick Bezzerides is the owner of Sense of Place Permaculture, LLC which he started in 2008. He offers environmentally appropriate design, installation and maintenance services for rural, residential, and commercial landscapes as well as consulting and training for those who want to do-it-themselves. Nick has earned a BS in Biology from Colorado State University, an MS in Forestry from the University of Montana and is an ISA Certified Arborist, Certified Permaculture Design Consultant, and Master Gardener.
