About the Event:
This three-day event will highlight innovations in the development of rural and agricultural livelihoods, financial inclusion, and increasing rural food security and nutrition in Africa.
The conference will provide a demand-driven, participatory learning space where participants can share information on programs, methodologies, strategies, and tools. The conference can be attended by international development practitioners, donors, banks, investors and other private sector players, as well as policymakers involved in rural and agricultural finance. The participants will collaborate with each other on related themes and questions, including:
- Proper feeding of a growing population;
- Reducing costs and risks of serving rural clients;
- Preparing for sustainability of future livelihoods;
- Enticing investors to key agricultural value chains;
- Facilitating positive behavioral changes.
