Event

Event posted by: Thankful Paws

Event description

Captain Montalvan, a 17-year veteran of the U.S. Army, including multiple combat tours to Iraq, was decorated with awards including two Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart, the Army Commendation Medal for Valor and the Combat Action Badge. From issues relating to service members, veterans and their families to those pertaining to Americans with disabilities, Montalvan and his faithful service dog, "Tuesday," are vocal advocates. Among the outlets in which they have been featured are NPR, CNN, C-SPAN, National Geographic and The Late Show with David Letterman.

Please join us November 2 for a presentation by New York Times Bestselling author Capt. Luis Montalvan and Tuesday about "War & Recovery." You won't want to miss this evocative discussion about country and canine.
