Join National Constitution Center Trustee and University of Pennsylvania Professor Richard Beeman as he unveils his newest book, Our Lives, Our Fortunes and Our Sacred Honor: The Forging of American Independence, 17741776. Dr. Beeman will illuminate how America transformed from a colony into a republic and how Americans turned from subjects into citizens through a combination of political maneuvering, intellectual brilliance, and revolutionary documents including the Declaration of Independence.
