Hoping to teach English abroad, but don't have experience? Attend an I-TEFL Information Session to find out more about the I-TEFL Certificate offered by UW! Having a TEFL certificate will help you qualify for lots of teaching jobs overseas, so start preparing now.

The next ITEFL Certificate starts January 6th and is an evening program, designed for those that work or study during the day. Classes meet Monday and Wednesday, 6-9pm. The next intensive session starts July 2014.

What is the I-TEFL Certificate?

Prepare to teach English as a foreign language in a professional certificate program. You can choose from an evening program, January to June, or a four-week intensive program July to August. Deepen your understanding of language acquisition theory, explore the latest research on teaching methods and learn to better manage and organize your classroom and your classroom activities. All Information Sessions are held on the UW Campus, north of downtown. Most info sessions on held on buildings in the north part of campus. The closest paid parking lot on campus is via the entrance on NE 45th St and Memorial Way (17th Ave NE). At the gate house, ask to park in N1 or N5.
