Posted by: Build It Green!

Description

Class is for children 6 and up plus parents, ticket price is for parent child combo.

Llaves Designs was founded in 2007 by Meg Keys and has been creating a smashing good time since. Meg hails from Chicago where she learned the craft of piñata making and brought it to the youth in the area through workshops at places such as 826CHI and Mercy Home for Girls and Boys. Since transitioning to New York five years ago she's had the luck to teach the art of piñata making at organizations such as 826NYC, Maker Faire, BedStuy Puppet Players, and Ocean Hill Art Sanctuary. In recent moments Meg was a recipient of the SPARC Award through the Brooklyn Arts Council teaching senior citizens how to make piñatas.
