Tracy Gilman is a conceptual artist, fabricator, spectacle maker and performer in her home land of New York City. She is co-founder of the art collective Fakework Ladies Racing Team and frequent co-conspirator of Madagascar Institute. Most recently you can find her name as a contributing artist on the wall of the Guggenheim Museum, and along 14th Street in Art in Odd Places. She collaborates with numerous artists, designing performances, installations and happenings, and is among the creators of the interactive self-help experience Make It HappenTM, performed at Flux Factory, Lost Horizon Night Market and Figment. Transcriptions are published in The Swedish Dance History 2. And last but not least, Tracy is also a full time high school art teacher. More information about her recent project here.
