Global Tech Prep Middle School is a small middle school with grades 6, 7 and 8 that is part of the New York City Department of Education iZone and Small Schools Initiative. We offer a stimulating, technology based learning environment to all of our students. All of our classrooms are equipped with computers and the latest software to ensure that our students are prepared for the future.
The Global Tech Prep Middle School Team believes that its primary purpose is to educate each student for the 21st century knowledge-based economy. We know that students will spend their working lives in increasingly competitive environments that are driven by technological innovations. Therefore, we push our students to the highest possible level of academic achievement by providing a curriculum designed around the thinking and skills needed for the 21st century.
Outside of our innovative, 21st century curriculum, students enjoy an array of extra-curricular activities. These include sports, leadership, and unique travel opportunities. Additionally, GTP partners with world-class organizations to offer unique learning and internship opportunities.
